Contemi Solutions, a leading technology solutions provider to asset and wealth managers, insurers, banks, and brokers, has won three awards at the 2021 WealthTech Asia Awards, hosted by WealthBriefing.
Contemi ‘Client Onboarding Solution’ also gained recognition as being highly commended in the ‘onboarding product’ category.
Showcasing the ‘best of breed’ of Asia, the WealthBriefing awards are designed to recognise outstanding organisations which the prestigious panel of independent judges deemed to have ‘demonstrated innovation and excellence during the last year’. Each of the categories are highly contested with a small group of finalists and commended submissions chosen from a large pool of entrants before an ultimate winner is selected by the judges.
On Contemi’s submissions, the judges cited, “We were impressed that Contemi launched a highly successful ‘LITE Version’ of its client portal, a light touch, secure communication channel designed to augment the usual methods of phone calls and email with a highly simplified portal, specifically designed with the less technology savvy in mind, to resolve the communication challenges amid COVID-19.”
The judges went on to praise Contemi’s Onboarding Solution entry, highlighting the efficacy of the solution that aims to reduce onboarding times by up to 90%, improve operational efficiencies by over 80% and save up to 60% on time–to-resolution of repetitive tasks.
Commenting on ‘Regional Management Team/CEO’ entry, the judges said, “In a year that has demanded countless adaptations to strategy and business operation, it is impressive that Contemi Solutions under Alex’s leadership has taken steps not only to ensure a collaborative, supportive, and career-nurturing workplace but also to ensure the company is able to maintain a strong financial position.”
Commenting on the company’s triumph, Gaurav Mehta, Executive Director- Global Sales, Contemi said, “We are very honoured to be recognised by Wealthbriefing. During the last year, more than ever, when both the investors and advisors needed integrated and real-time information coupled with digital communication tools, our clients were able to acquire, onboard and engage customers with our client portal and onboarding solutions.
The multiple awards bagged by Contemi is a manifestation of our relentless pursuit of excellence in all aspects of our clients’ business. It serves as a confirmation of our commitment to ensure that our clients have access to the latest tools available to achieve competitive advantage in today’s highly competitive business environment. We thank the WealthBriefing Asia jury for this appreciation.”
ClearView Financial Media’s CEO, and Publisher of WealthBriefing, Stephen Harris, congratulated all the winners and said: “The organisations and individuals who triumphed in these awards are all worthy winners, and I would like to extend my heartiest congratulations to the winners and to those who have put so much work into each winning submission.
“These awards were independently and expertly judged solely on the basis of entrants’ submissions and their response to a number of specific questions, which were answered by focusing on the client experience rather than purely quantitative performance metrics. That is a unique, and I believe, compelling feature. These awards recognise the very best operators in Asia wealth management, with ‘independence’, ‘integrity’ and ‘genuine insight’ the watchwords of the judging process - such that the awards truly reflect excellence in Asia wealth management.”
Winning awards is particularly important in challenging times as it gives clients reassurance in the solidity and sustainability of the winner’s business and operating model.
